Alexander (Sandy) Bing III 1931-2015‏

Sandy Bing spent his working life as a securities analyst, market letter writer, and research director with several Wall Street firms.

He also has spent many hours fishing the Delaware from Deposit on the West Branch down to Buckingham on the Main Stem and the East Branch from the town of the same name to the junction pool at Hancock.

Sandy had long been interested in protecting trout streams and rivers from the many threats they face and was an early and influential member of the group led by River Network that saved the Three dollar Bridge stretch on the Madison River (MT) from real estate development.

He was a member of The Anglers’ Club of New York and Theodore Gordon Flyfishers.

He will most definitely be missed.
